When you’ve been walking all round London all day sightseeing, what better way to sit down and relax ……enjoy a show
It would be wicked to win this wicked prize
I have a two year old and an 8 week baby – I would love nothing better than to sit down and be entertained
one of my favourite West End shows & gives a whole new outlook on the Wicked Witch!
I love the show, but student budget means I can’t get to see it, I would love to share it with my friends who don’t believe it can be as good as I say it is!
I would love these Wicked tickets because I would love to surprise my mum with them for her birthday
Simply because.
I loved the Wizard of Oz and really want to see the other side of the story! The soundtrack to Wicked is awesome and I need to see it on stage!
I would love to see the show again! I saw it last year, but even though we got tickets on the day we had rubbish seats and people were horrible to my sister all the way through. I would love to take one of my friends from 6th Form, who is having a really hard time at the moment and she always says how much she wants to see the show and this would be the perfect opportunity for her.
Its the only show that ive been desperate to see for years but living on a student budget means that i cant afford shows at all.
also my sister wants to go into musical theatre so to take her would be an amazing opportunity!
I have been studying hard for 4 years, meant to be revising again now and all I want to do when I finish these exams is come to London to see wicked!!! I’ve been saving up, but not enough, so without these tickets I won’t be able to come!
I am a 16 year old musical lover, but living in the midlands means that I hardly ever get to see Shows in London, as I live too far away, and with times as such, i can’t really afford to go!
Please please pick me, as this would mean a lot to me, to have a really good nigh out in the theatre, with all my family, not just my mum or dad or brother!!
Thanks XD
I’ve seen it 12 times. I am completely obsessed I have bought a programme each time I went. I have two copies of the CD, 5 T-Shirts, 2 Hoodies, the charm bracelet, the umbrella, the beach towel, the book, the vocal book, the karaoke cd, all 3 snow globes, the mug, the broach, the monkey, the grimmerie, the keyring, the poster and probably things I have forgotton…Oh, and I did my university dissertation on it. I’m having withdrawral symptoms from it as I havn’t been since last August and can’t go until this summer because of money reasons!!! I think I’ve spent enough over the years on Wicked to get some free tickets….Please!!!!
I’d like to win this for my friend lucy, she’s had a really rubbish couple of weeks with a relationship breakup and bad times at uni and being in a lot of debt. It would be really nice to see her smile again and cheer her up if I could take her to Wicked (she knows the soundtrack off by heart and back to front!). xxx
I love the music of the show, but have never been fortunate to see it. I’m 15 so I don’t earn my own money and cannot ask my parents to pay for me to go and see it as tickets are quite expensive (well at the times I can actually see it). I would love to go and see the show to make Wicked only the second West-End musical I would have seen!
Being a 21 years old French boy, it is always a big event when I go to London. I’ve been lucky enough to enjoy several different shows, and it was more than a sensation! Now I would like to share the magic of such a Wicked show with my family, my parents and my sister, for they’ve never had the chance to go to London and they’ve never had the chance to see a musical. I don’t really want to win for me but I do want to take my family and allow them to get what they cannot afford.
Because I have just found the recipe for making a chocolate cake in 5 minutes, in a mug and it would be great to sit down with my Girlfriend who has put up with me for 8 years and watch a great show while eating my cake in my mug! If she is lucky I will even share a bit with her. Alternatively give her the tickets for putting up with me for 8 years. I’m sure she’ll go shopping before and spend all my money before resting her feet at the show!
I have loved musicals since I was a little girl, but in my whole life, I’ve never been able to go see one with my family, it would be a dream come true for me to win these tickets for my family and myself
Wicked is one of the top shows I’ve always wanted to see in the West End!! Defying Gravity is my favourite number from the show, and I just know it would be an amazing experience to see it ;D I’ve always been a musical lover, from my first musical I’ve seen being phantom, to starring in them myself, I’d just really love this oppourtunity to go see it!!!
I have only ever been to one west end show, and that was on a school trip!
I’d love to get the chance to see another well produced, exciting and thrilling show now that i’m a bit older and can appreciate it more! and this time see it with my fella!
That way he can treat me to a shopping trip down oxford street, and I can treat him to an excellent show!!
I’ve allready seen the show once, bought the soundtrack of Itunes and sing along to the songs regularly. I’m desperate to see the show again and introduce it to my friends, but unfortunately we’re all on student budgets at the moment as such I’d LOVE to win the prize and treat them to this for free!
I wish to be spellbound along with my friends and winning tickets would be WICKED!
As a descendant of the Good Witch I am interested to see this musical portrayal of my ancestor.
…because its not easy being green and I’d love to be popular and be part of Oz’s winning team by capturing this wizardly prize!
Cos I am Wicked, and it’s not easy being green.
“This Question Haunts and Hurts, too much, too much to mention!”
they would be “changed for the better”. Because of wicked, they woud be “Changed For Good”
Wicked is the best muiscal ive ever seen, i absolutly love it! As an UberFan, i can never get enough of it! the thing is, because im so obsessed with it, i talk about it a bit too much, and my friends are getting annoyed with me! I keep asking them to come with me to see it, as i know they would love it, and talk about it aswell! Unfortunatly, they dont see that, and are refusing to come because they dont want to ‘waste’ their money on something they dont like! So this would be perfect! I would get another chance to see wicked, and also be able to covert my friends into Wicked Geeks
in need of a wicked night out
I am musical MAD! I live, sleep, eat and breathe all musicals (especially Wicked!). Seeing Wicked two years ago changed me ‘ for good’ and I actually havent stopped talking (and singing!) about it since! I dream about being on the Victoria Apollo’s stage one day, hopefully coated in green paint and a witches hat! I make a point of going to the stage door to congratulate the cast , after putting on such an amazing show! I would LOVE to enter the emerald city one more time and be transported to magical Shiz and Oz
Wicked number one fan (Im wearing the wicked hoodie right now!) xx
Yo yo, I’m a musical hoe
Singing and dancing is the things I know.
The truth bro
I’m poor fo’ shaw.
Been to see wicked before,
left me here crying out for more.
It moved me right to the core
so make me happy, not feeling sore.
I am preggas with Phearo’s baby
I will keep it quiet if for some tickets, maybe.
give them here, don’t get cagey
their not for me their for the baby.
My baby needs to see it’s Dad
grant it’s wish, it’s only a Lad.
Pass them over and we won’t get mad
We will take them, we will be glad.
Thanks
Becky + Elina
P.S – Not really ‘Preggas’…
I love musicals and have not seen wicked yet, it would be a lovely break from renovating our house.
I dont know WHAT IS THIS FEELING? But I think SOMETHING BAD is going to happen if I don’t go to see WICKED. I AM NOT THAT GIRL who likes musicals but THANK GOODNESS a friend gave me the soundtrack and I havent stop listening to it since then.I dont know If it is because of the WONDERFUL Kerry Ellis or the POPULAR Kristin Chenowith, but I fall in love with it FOR GOOD. After a while I met a SENTIMENTAL MAN and he said AS LONG AS YOU RE MINE nothing can go wrong… But I replied: ‘Well I prefer to keep DEFYING GRAVITY cause if I am flying solo at least I am flying free so now you know why one ticket to go and see WICKED will be more than enough for me…! I just want one ONE SHORT DAY to the Apollo VIctoria theatre and as for you who are reading this remember: NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED so let me go and when THE WIZARD AND I will meet I’ll ask him to let us all keep DANCING THROUGH LIFE unpunished, unpunished, unpunished!
i would love to go and see wicked because i love west end shows and it will be my birthday soon and i asked my mom whether i could go and see wicked for my birthday but she said it would be too expensive for all four of us to go!
Because I mourn the wicked.
Because I love how it just lets you escape into a world of fantasy for a little while
)
My sister who is 19 next month was supposed to go the other day.
But her so called friend stooped really low and took someone else.
I would love to give her this as an early birthday treat.
It would be Wicked to win tickets to this show
I’d go with my best friends and wife all in tow
I’d love to see Glinda The Good and the Wicked Witch of the West
In a show that in London I just know is the best
From a novel by the fabulous Gregory Maguire
For who my praise just can not get any higher.
My whole life I’ve had an obsession with The Wizard Of Oz and dispite being a boy I used to be obsessed with witches and dress up as the wicked witch of the west all the time!! I even went to a dress up day at school as the witch and didn’t understand why i won “bravest costume” lol. I always knew that there was more to the wicked witch of the west and I think that the magical music of this show brings Oz to life!
I’ve been following the show for years and it has introduced me to some incredible performers such as Kerry Ellis, Dianne Pilkington and Alexia Khadime, which I’m a HUGE fans of! Afterall Elphaba’s the new Phantom and I would be so greatful if I could take three of my friends to experience Wicked.
Thanks
Wicked got me into musicals, it’s inspiring me to want to train to be in musicals when I’m older, but being from the far west of Wales, I don’t get the chance to go to London – I’ve only been to the city four times. I’d love to spend One Short Day in London city, going to see my favourite musical – I have fallen in love with it For Good, and it would make my day to go and see the musical that made me love the magical world of musical theatre.
Plus, I’m kinda green with envy at the thought of someone else getting the tickets. So, as a wise – well, not really wise – young Winkie prince once said, LET THE GREEN GIRL GO!
(TO THE TUNE OF ‘DEFYING GRAVITY’)
It’s my friend’s birthday in March
What to get her? I don’t know
I think she’d love some tickets to see this amazing show
She turning sixteen shortly, and I she deserves a rest
She’s never se-en Wicked
So she’s missing out on what’s best…
I’d like to win tickets to see Wicked
I’d take my favourite friend to see Wicked
I know she’d love to go and see Wicked
So please don’t let her down
My friend’s amazing to me
And I want to let her know
How much I appreciate her, by winning tickets to this show
She loves the Wicked soundtrack
But she’s never actually been
And so I want to take her and show how it’s seen
My friend and I want to go see Wicked
So I will try to win tickets to see Wicked
I think she’ll cry if I take her to see Wicked
So please don’t let her down
Been wanting to go for soooooooo long. Can’t wait to go, just don’t have any money – its the effect of studying. I’ve seen defying gravity and im even more excited! please please please
I have already seen this show and it’s the best west end musical I have ever seen but my sister is dying to see it and needs cheering up so I would love to be able to take her to see it, too broke to treat her so winning would be excellent!
ME AND MY WIFE HAVE BEEN SAYING FOR YEARS NOW THAT WE’D LOVE 2 GO TO LONDON AND SEE ASHOW BUT LOOKING AFTER TWO CHILDREN AND PAYING BILLS WE NEVER SEEM TO HAVE THE MONEY TO GO SO IF WE WON THESE TICKETS IT WOULD BE BRILLIANT XXTHANX
A year before Wicked came to London, I had the soundtrack and had the songs memorised (sad, I know).
I had my first gay kiss whilst ‘Defying Gravity’ was playing in my car.
I’ve seen every london cast (except the current one!).
I am an out of work actor (and therefore always skint).
I want to be the first mixed race Fiyero in London (just like the original Fiyero from the book).
I am Wicked.
My best friend Louise and I saw Wicked when it first opened in London, we were already hooked, and seeing the show took our breath away. Lou is getting married this September, she wanted a Wicked themed Wedding, but her Fiancée wasn’t having any of it. So going to see the show again this year might just make up for it, I would love to be able to treat her, but she wouldn’t let me, so this would be a way to make it happen.
I had tickets to see the show last year as a birthday night out for my partner, unfortunatly i was being bullied by my manager at work at the time and he refused to let me have the day/night off, without the possibility of the loss of my job. therefore we both ended up missing out and i lost my job in the end anyway. would love to make it up for it this year……….
As an extra special treat for my daughter’s 50th birthday my granddaughter and I were going to take her to see WICKED and stay the night in London and have tea at the Savoy. Debbie and Denise went to see the best show ever ‘WICKED’ and had a lovely weekend but I was in hospital in loads of pain aaah having just had a replacement knee operation!
I have never been so disappointed and jealous in all my life when they told what a fabulous show ‘WICKED’ was!!
Always promising me they will take me again but still waiting…….
I’m french ! Isn’t that enough ?
Well, i’m kiding, but how am supposed to create an amazing buzz in France about wicked if i have never seen it !?
“My 9th grade science teacher always said that if you put a frog in boiling hot water, it would jump out. But put it in cold water, and heat it up gradually, it would slowly boil to death”
That was a memorable quote from the movie “Dantes Peak”. It’s my favorite movie. I think this proves how much I need to watch something good for a change.
I am that frog; WICKED is that pan of hot water
Boil Me.
Fingers crossed, it will be as moving and explosive as Dante’s Peak.
It all started at the tender age of 5 I was an octopus in the school nativity play -FAIL
At 10, I played the triangle in the school string orchestra – FAIL
At 15 I went to see Equus – FAIL
And now at 21 I am desperately trying to win tickets to WICKED — Please don’t further disgrace my perception of the performing arts
This comment ……………………….. WIN
PLEASE!!!
Why Do I Deserve to see Wicked?
Well… I was lucky enough to see Wicked win ‘Best West End Show’ at 2010 WhatsOnStage.com Awards, and now would love the chance to see the spectacle of Wicked in full.
But WHY? Well..
1. LOVE Theatre!
2. LOVE Lee Mead! (soon to become the next Fiyero =D)
3. LOVE London!
It would be great to take the kids to see this fab show to show them the other side of a story ie: the wizard of oz.
I would love to win tickets to see Wicked. I love the books, I love the music so much I know the songs word for word. I would never be able to go to see the show if I don’t win tickets because I am a mother of two and a wife to a Husband with a depressive condition very much like Bi polar
I care for my family 24/7, I never get a break or a chance to treat myself and to top it all we’re on benefits and I just manage to keep us going each week with no luxuries. I would be so Happy I would burst if I were to win tickets to see the show xxxxx
I am a single mum with three kids and would so so so love to take them to see a westend show… The Wizard of Oz is my three year olds favourite film and she would be blown away to see it… unfortunately I don’t have enough money to take them so it would be totally and utterly amazing if I could win the tickets and introduce them the spectacular of a live musical which they would remember for life.
Please please please
ever since i bought the soundtrack i have wanted to go see it but have not been able to afford to go. i would love to take me and my friends as i have been into musical theater and drama since i was 7 and i have been studying drama ever since. It would make a great trip be for we all go our seaperate ways to uni and what not. It would also be a chance to thank them for being there for me as i havent had the best tym over the past couple of years and this would be a huge thank you as they havent seen it and would love to go.
Please pick me as i havent seen it before and being from yorkshire it will be too expensive to arrange this trip with what budget i have.
I am a musical theatre geek. There, I said it.
I saw Wicked for the first time in Chicago a couple of years ago not really expecting to fall in love with its grand scale and outrageous costumes [I prefer minimalist, fringe theatre] however I quickly fell under the Wicked spell and have been raving about it ‘for good’.
I would love this opportunity to take my family to the theatre, especially my Mum who has just been finally signed off clear from the hospital having dealt with breast cancer… it would be a great way to celebrate and remind her just how ‘popular’ and special she is.
I didn’t realise that they’ve made a West End Show all about my Mother-In-Law. I should go, just to hear her sing!
I would love to win this as I have performed songs from it in the past but have never actually seen it. Some of my friends are completely obsessed with it and keep telling me to go so, seems like the perfect opportunity really!
Wicked is my fav show! I go to Theatre Train every saturday where we perform locallly and in the west end and musicals are my fav thing. Im hoping to be an actress when im older and make it on Eastenders and big west end shows.
Also, i get very little money and would love to go and see Wicked again. Ive seen it once and its inspired me so much. The story and the message is so powerful.I love that fact that its partly based on bullying and about people who are diffrent and alot of the time, I feel that im diffrent in my school. If I won this competition, it would be a dream come true.
I think i deserve to win the Tickets to see the most incredible and my favourite musical of all time, Wicked. I would love to see it as it would be my second time and i saw it so long ago but i remember it so well. Ireally like the new cast and i would love to see them perform!
Please Choose ME
George
i would like to win the tickets to see wicked because i am obsessed with wicked… i have seen the show 5 times and painted myself fully green 3 times.. my nan knitted me elphabas hat from the school scenes and i wore that and emerald city green glases. i have many of the merchandise which include tshirt, hat, gloves, jumper, keyring, mug , emerlad glasses and also i wrote to the cast and i have many atuographs and photos from the cast over the years including idina menzel, adam garcia, helen dalimore the original cast i am a true fan of wicked
x
It has been a dream of mine to go to london and see a west end show and after i had my children my children came first so i had to put that dream away untill they got older. when i headed wicked had come to the west end i wonted to come please give me the chance to live my dream xxxxxxxxx
I live in London but my best friend from Iceland is coming to vsit me, and also 2 other friends. My best friend is a BIG wicked fan ,but we can’t afford the tickets, unfortunately. But IF we get those 4 tickets it would make our YEAR!
I haven’t been to see a show in London for a long time. My friends all rave about ‘Wicked’ and recommend it to everyone. There is something exciting taking a trip to London and enjoying a great evening of entertainment and where better to go than to see a great show called ‘Wicked’
I’d love to be choosen and thanks for reading my entry
Julie xxx
I am a lifetime fan of the Wizard of Oz and when i saw this show advertised during a training visit to London in 2006 I knew I would be back to see it…
I took my daughter (also a WIzard of Oz fanatic) in January 2007 and i fell in love… the costumes were out of this world, the music was enchanting and so passionate… we had to clear the shops of all that was on offer… our suitcase was certainly bulging.
Ever since my first experience of the best musical i have ever seen i knew i had to go back. So in September of 2009, my sons 12th birthday and first trip to London, we returned and did it in style, staying at a 5 star gold award hotel… the show did not disappoint us, in fact my son said ‘Wicked was wicked!!!’ I noticed things that i missed the first time round and would highly recommend at least a second viewing.
I would love to come again to the show and meet the amazing cast and hope the rumours are right with regards to making it into a film, I would be first in line for that… and this time we could all see it together.
Keep up the good work and hope to see you soon
Michelle xx
I am a postgraduate student. My country is 15 hours far from UK by flight. This is my first and last year here in UK. Don’t know when I will be able to be back again after the study. I would like to make “Wicked” my first experience of musical as a special memory of my UK student life.
I would deserve to win because I put my 5 children 1st all the time, therefor my days start at 6.30am and finally finish at 11.30pm everyday. I also have a full itineryof cubs, swimming, football training and ‘little league’ + school football, scouts, guides, harriers and cross country championship races. All kids clubs are on every evening from Monday to Friday and the cross country races are on 8am onwards on a Saturday and from 8.30pm onwards for Sunday ‘little league’ football. I also work in a kennels and do all the ‘mum’ stuff too like nursery, school collections, shopping etc. It really is exhausting work but I wouldn’t change it for the world – just a trip to Wicked!!
I would be soooo excited to win tickets to wicked! Am obssessed with show. Would love to introduce my 3 bridesmaids to the show and share the magic!
My little girl now covers her ears when hearing me sing the songs from ‘Wicked’ as she’s so sick of hearing me belt out ‘Defying Gravity’- she has no taste bless her
I rarely go to the theatre as I’ usually skint- boo hoo violins.
So gimme the tickets meeeeeeeeeeeeee.
Plus I think I need to take my mum out. She’s had a difficult year and is THE BEST mum in the world. Shes my best mate and trust me she deserves a treat. I’d love to surprise her as she’s always doing things for other people
xx
My siblings and I are massive musicals fans – particularly funny when my 6 foot 7 brother bursts into song!
We now live all over the country and don’t get to see each other as much as we’d like to. But if I win, Grandma has confirmed she’ll play babysitter so we can all get together and sing our (tone deaf) hearts out!
I have a 5 year old daughter who loves the theatre and adores the Wicked music, knows nearly all the words and loves to leave her witch’s hat, broom and cape on the floor while she chuckles behind the settee pretending she has melted. I have taken her to London in kids go free week to see wicked and I am always being asked when can we go again?
I’ve read the book and even have the soundtrack but I still haven’t managed to go and see the show. I’m saving all my pennies for a wedding!
This would be wicked to win as I have never seen it due to never having the money to go and would love the opportunity to take my girlfriend to see this amazing show.
WELL…. Heheheheheh….heh…
As of me being the REAL Wicked Witch of The West (And yes, I know how to use a computer!) , I would like to see if the role is worthy of my GREATNESS.
PLUS, I know my minion monkeys would LOVE to see it too! But don’t worry, they’ll be quiet as a mouse in the theatre, I’ll cast a spell to sow their mouths shut!
MAAAAAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAH……HEH.
All my friends raved about the show Wicked so i went and saw it last year, i fell in love with the show.
Nothing can beat the atmospere of the theatre, and i would love nothing more than to introduce my 6year old to the delights that Wicked has to offer… unfortunately since ive just had a baby money is tight so it’ll be a while before i can share the experience with him x
I’ve read the book of Wicked so many times and have always wanted a chance to see, what I’ve heard is, one of the best West End shows (I’ve never seen any shows at the West End, and have only ever seen one live musical).I would’ve gone to see it before, but I’ve never had the money and I missed the times when my friends saw it. With the prize, we’d all be able to go and I’m pretty sure that it would be fantastic. Also, it’s my 20th birthday on the 24th and the prize would certainly make my year, if not my decade (I know it’s early, but it’d be that good).
My 7 year old sister’s dream is to sing in Wicked. I am 22 and have been a devout fan of this fabulous musical ever since I can remember. My mother would play the songs on the cassette player in the car everyday on the way to school. Sadly, we never got the chance to see it, my sister being ill and my mother working all the time. This is our opertunity, and we would all be so grateful if we were given the chance to see this awesome, fun filled, creative musical.
Because i wanna be ‘popular’ and if i did win i would be ‘dancing through life’. i love ‘Wicked’ and i would defy gravity to get these tickets!
thanking you in advance for my tickets!
Tracey
x
Right..so why i should win these tickets..?
Well i have a witches outfit to make use of, and what other better occasion to wear it without getting taken the piss out of.. I’ll fit right in with my Wicked Witch of the West sister on stage!
My daughter’s birthday is in August and she would love to see wicked at the Victorria appolo as she has never seen a west end show and loves the theatre. I would love to see her eyes light up.
I LOVE this show, I can hand on heart say it is the best musical I have ever seen. The vocals were phenomenal, sent shivers down my spine. However my boyfriend has never in his 21 years been to the Theatre, I have tried many a time to persuade him but to no avail, however the only play he has shown any interest in is Wicked, but with both of us being students we simply can’t afford the tickets. I have been singing this shows praises since the moment the curtain fell and so i’m sure I’ll have no problem finding two other equally enthusiastic people to join us. pick me please! would be an amazing post graduation day out! x
I’ve been in love with this musical ever since i saw them do a couple of songs on children in need/royal varity a few years back. I love the idea and dont actually live in london so i havent go t see it. If i went with a few friends i’d be so happy cus’ i dont know any other way that would make 2010 a better year!
It is the most unique show out there; the only one I have gone back to see for a second and third time yet still long for more
I would love to see wicked! the songs are amazing, and Louise Dearman is going to be in it, and she has a beautiful voice, she was in the panto at milton keynes theatre xmas 2009 where i work! Its my goal to see every amazing musical in the west end
I LOVE WICKED! Best book i have read, hands down. Desperately want to see the show. Know the soundtrack by heart. But my work is closing down so pennies are tight

Have now seen rent and wont be content until i have seen wicked
Dancing through life and one short day are amazing!!
Because of Wicked, i have truly been changed for good.
♥
i have never seen it and would love too and as a pregnant lady i could almost say im craving too see it, it looks amazing and i have heard very good reviews
also have never been to a theatre so wud love the experience
I have been wanting to see Wicked since i was little but never got the chance to and i would love to have the opportunity to see it now. I am also kinda skint atm so cant afford to buy tickets the ticket so it would be awsome to win them
It would be a nice way to spend the day with my daughter as I don’t see her as much as I liked to a she doesn’t live with me any more and plus it would be a good 21st birthday present too as she has always wanted to see Wicked
hmmmm… why do i think i should win?
1st off, i’ve been hooked since their appearance on RVP a few years back. swore then and there i’d see it ASAP. yeah, unfortunately didn’t happen.
instead, having worn out the CD of the soundtrack (seriously) driven my family and boyfriend mad with the non stop Wicked tunes on loop *i kid you not* and would LOVE to see the show – yep, you guessed it… still NEVER SEEN IT. really wish i’d seen Indina as Elphie but you can’t have everything
would love to take my bestest with me as she’s been trying to take me for years (always when i’m poor or nowadays working. GRRRRRR)
fancy making a couple of young twenty one year olds happy?
u know who to pick
I love wicked, the music just gives me the chills. I have done a troupe of wicked with the kids at my mams dance school and have tried to potray the characters and this did win in the competition it entered however i would love to see the show live and get a real insight into the story. I am so jelous of the people who have already seen the show and i wish i could see it to improve the dance the children do and help them understand the story better. Im a student so cant afford to buy the tickets but i would love to go see it with my mam and 2 of the kids from the school, all my spare time is spent dancing and trying to make dancing enjoyable for the children and i would love to see this show, i have heard it is magical and breath taking!!! please pick me x
If I won the tickets it would make me feel wonderful and maybe the Wizard and I would be dancing through life and I could be popular for once. x
Me and my boyfriend have always wanted to go and see WICKED!!!!
We would love to win these tickets so we could spend the day in London with another couple which are our close friends that hardly ever get the chance to go to London.
My boyfriend has just come back from working 6 months away and this would be the perfect opportunity to spend time together in the capital.
Please vote for us to win! x
Im Simone Ludeman Im 19 and for my 18th birthday my boyfriend booked my wicked tickets and dinner at the ivy….it snowed loads wicked was cancelled aswell as my driving test…which i then failed a total of 4 times lol. So wicked was cancelled and id been nagging him a whole year leaving hints to book it again for example….i had a pack of loveheart sweets and i sais “why don’t you take me to… THEN handed him a sweet with wiked onit. Anyway it was left so long he never did bother booking it again and i realllllllllly wanted to go so at the expense of it being such a failure and a personal joke for a whole year i think i deserve to go lol thanksssss
Because I came to London on a theatre internship for school & I am the only theatre major student in the program and my non theatre friends need to see the absolute best musical ever so they can actually see and appreciate theatre performers and crew!
i would love to win the tickets to watch wicked becasue i have never been to a musical before and i saw the advert to this one and thought i need to see that if its the last thing i do and i never have any money so my dream to wicked at the west end will take years years wich i dnt have because it wont be out then so i would absolutley love to win it will wicked to win wicked tickets
i have never been up London and i heard that wicked was a good show i need to face my fear of going up London please let me
Becuase it would be the perfect 18th birthday present to send my daughter who is away from home studying Musical Theatre in London. she can take her flatmates and have a wonderful night. That will be a huge consolation for not being with her on her birthday.
I saw it for my 16th birthday a few years ago and have been completely obessed ever since! I bughtthe cast recording (which got metotally obsessed with Idina Menzel as well) and have listened to it so much since I got it, that the CD’s actually started to stop working! (Thank god for ipods!) Anyway, like a lot of people who’v posted on here, I’m a poor student who’s so far into her overdraft it’s depressing, so as much as I want to see Wicked again I really can’t afford to! Also, my friends have always taken the mick out of me for loving it so much, so I want to show them how amazing it is
I should win because I love Wicked.
Everything about Wicked is amazing, if I see a poster of Wicked in a shop window I ask if I can take it home with me.
I have never seen the musical before, I only watch video’s of it on Youtube. I have two copies of the OBC soundtrack and listen to it every day. Me and my friends did a play using the OBC script that we found on the internet. There was only four of us and we rotated roles. I’ve read the Wicked Novel and I am currently reading Son Of A Witch.
Me and my best friends really want to see Wicked, we both have never seen it before and we have been waiting for an opertunitiy like this for two years.
My 11 year old has been asking to see this musical, my 7 year old has caught up and he wants to see it too. They love singing and dancing and musicals, just as I did as a child (so does my 3 year old) and I would desperately love to be able to take them to see it but I was made redundant in 2007 and then my husband was made redundant for 3 months last year. Thankfully he is working again, but has had to take someting paying less. We are a hard working family but are now always having to say no to ‘luxuries’, and they never complain (much) or make a fuss, it would make my kids’ day to be taken to see such a fabulous show and make them feel as special as they are to us. Thank You
I want to winnnnnnnnn!!!
PLEASEEEEEE
i am a huge fan of the show and it would be a great birthjday present for my mum! me and my mum no mostly all the songs if we hear the music ! I have performed wicked as a drama and have fallin in love with it i love it so much ! pls !
The reason I would love to win these tickets is not for me, but for my girlfriend.
Her 18th birthday is coming up in May and I know that she would just love to see this show, but since she crashed her car she won’t be able to afford tickets, and if i can’t find another job I can’t see how I can afford them either.
I know this would be the best birthday present she could possibly get and would just make her year before she leaves for uni.
Hey, i would love to get these two tickets because i have heard its one of the best west enders to watch and my mum has been going on about going to see it for a while now and we havent exactly had the best 2009 and nor 2010 at the moment, so would love to have some mother and daughter bonding time as i go to college and she works fall time, so we rarely get to spend it together. Also mum has alot of illnesses and has been down due to a major problem that had occured in 2009 and has lost the will to do anything and for a daughter to see her mum like that is horrible. Would be great to get them so i can make her smile for a while. I would do anything for her =) whether it be tickets to this or just a luxury day out to see her smile again! (Of course that would be pricey =( ) Much Loves Laura Louise x
lets just say wicked is the best fall stop. its a brilliant musical and i would love to go see it. it would be a night to remember thanks
x
Im going 2 visit my sister in london at the end of march with family and would love 2 see the shoe
Im going to visit my wee sister in london with my family at the end of march and would love to see the show
because it is AMAZING!!!!! super talented cast, brilliant songs!
And in honor of Idina Menzel joining Glee (apparently) i need to experiance this amazing show and to spoil my friends with this experiance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SO REALLY ITS A QUESTION OF WHY NOT??????????????
XXXXX
Never seen it and it will be a great night out in london.Have heard some of the soundtrack and it sounds incredible so would love to see it live!
Ihave watched the Wizard of Oz and been an avid fan since the age of 4! I would love to have the opportunity to see the show along with my family to ensure we make this a family tradition. How fantastic to start them off with the prequel! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
i have four children one of which is 3 months old my other children would love to see this show as they have never been to london or a show and this would be an amazing experience, also i have never won a prize so this would be amazing ,thankyou.
You’ve read the books. You think you know the story, but until you have seen the musical, you know nothing…
I would love these tickets because me and my friends have been planning to go for ages but the we can never afford the tickets. Also because we’re students, we get a lot of coursework so it would be nice if we could all get break and experience a show that looks so wonderful.
Hello I Would Like To See This Show As I Just Love Theatre Shows, We Find It Very Hard To Get Disabled Tickets For Westend Shows As Theres Only Limited Spaces For Wheelchairs, So The Only Way Is Entering Competitions But Never Any Success. So Here Goes Again LOL! This Show Is Just Amazing Especially As My Fave Song Of All Time Is DEFYING GRAVITY! That Is All I Can Say Really And Hope Im Successful XX
This semester is my first time here in England and I am absolutely loving it! I am studying from the US for a semester abroad at Oxford and my friends and I have been trying to get out to London to see Wicked since about the first week here!
My best friend is a theatre junky and has seen your show many times, my friends back home brag on how good the show is and I think I probably know all the tunes by heart as I have heard them from their ipods continuously for the past year a least at least, but I myself have NEVER seen the show!
Please choose me for this amazing prize!!! I think I would be your most enthusiastic winner by far! I mean, come on, how could anybody take lightly getting to get all dressed up, going to London’s West End, and with four of her best English friends to seeing the best show out?! I know I am taking this trip –to the Mecca of showbiz– extremely seriously!
Vote for me! Wicked!
I would love to win tickets to see Wicked, I have some really kind, friends who in difficult times are always there to help or just listen. It would be lovely to be able to take them to see Wicked and show them how much they are appreciated, It would be wicked!!
I’m a childminder, who looks after other peoples children 5 days a week.
My daughter loves this show, and i would love to take her again and spend some quality time together as a family. That would be great!!!
Because I’d love to Defy Gravity again one last time before I leave.
i grow up watching the wizard of oz and would love to see wicked as it looks an amazing show/story/production it would make my day to see something old turn dazzling on stage
Seeing this show is the one thing I NEED to do in my life. I know the soundtrack off by heart. I thought my heart stopped last night when I saw the advert on television. The song Defying Gravity got me through a hard time in my life and I’d love to be able to see it performed!
Please give me a chance to get to see it as I live in the Midlands and as a student I have no chance of being able to afford to watch it. Thank you!
For me, winning those tickets would be a dream come true. Wicked is not only about the amazig story, the wonderful friendship and terrific music. But the thrill of seeing Elphaba rise to the sky and defying gravity. It has amazing effects and is well produced. The other thing, I have never got the opportunity to see the musical, untill recently. When I saw it with my girlfriend we both fell in love. With each other, but also with this amanzig showstopper! For me, Wicked stands for that love, that bond between lovers (or friends). That we are all looking for acceptance and love. Also what friendship can do to you and the sacrifices we make for our true friends, who matter the most. When I would win those tickets, I would probably die of happiness and I will take the woman I love most to see this amazig show!!
I would love to win tickets for me and a friend because I saw it 5 times with Kerry Ellis in it, but I haven’t seen it without her!!!! I would LOVE to take my boyfriend for our two year anniversary! He loves it too!
Hello
I’ve heard it’s a WICKED show and one that I have been wanting to see for a long time. I’d bring my hubby and daughters for a WICKED day out
.
I first saw Wicked a few years back with my friend and her dad. A whole new world was opened up to me – I am now a lover of musicals. I live as south as you can go, and it costs more than the actual theatre tickets just to get to London. I think I should get to see Wicked again because there are people like me who cannot afford to see the show time and time again. I am extremley jealous of the people that have seen the show over 20 times, often more. I think I should be chosen for the oppertunity to have my eyes opened once more.
I’m a sixteen year ‘old’ teenager from Belgium who’s dream is to play elphaba. Everytime I see Elphaba rise up during Defying Gravity I cry, and need the ENTIRE intermission to calm down. It reminds me why I love musical and why I want to continue. When people are nagging on me, bullying, I remember Elphaba and how much I’m her. She is me, and I am her. Even tough she’s not real, I know that she’s there, as a part of me. Cheasy, right?
And the Wicked cast, at the moment, is my favorite one!!!
Love from Belgium
I would love to surprise my friend with them so she can finally understand the true amazingness of wicked and also so she can see there can be 2 sides to every story.
Because we need to see Oli’s thighs in those jodphurs one more time before he leaves at cast change! ;o)
My girlfriend is going on holliday to London during the Easter Hollidays. Since Wicked is her favorite musical of all times, she really wanted to go see it, but unfortunately her mom said no…
It would be the most amazing thing if I could surprise her with a ticket anyway, she would be absolutely thrilled!
I have been a massive fan of Wicked since I first heard thesoundtrack years ago! All of my friends have been able to go down to the west ed and watch it but ive never had the oppurtunity or the funds. There are lots of very good reasos for other people to win the tickets but i would really love it if i won! i would take my best friend who ive been friends with since we were 4 as were both massive fans and have never been able to watch it! Also it would make up for the fact that i couldn’t afford to get her present! OOPS!
I have seen WICKED once before almost a year ago, and I have never forgotten it. It was honestly the most amazing experience of my life. At first I didn’t want to see it at all, I thought it was going to be boring and a waste of my time, and BOY WAS I EVER WRONG! I found myself tapping along to the music, and was in complete amazement at how high the quality of the show actually was. And when Kerry Ellis came out and sang “Defying Gravity” it brought tears to my eyes. I would LOVE to re-live this experience again!!
i think i deserve this as i have been waiting t go see this and im turning 21 this year so would be an amazing present
I would love to take my friend to see Wicked. She’s having a tough time at school at the moment. Everyone is being mean to her because she’s different from the other girls. I think that taking her to see Wicked would be an uplifting experience for her. It will show her that it’s ok to be different, and that sometimes, it’s better to be different.
Because we are all ‘friends of Dorothy’ and now we want to be friends of Elphaba and Glinda too ^^ hehe xxx
I would give you my last Rolo
Because some small and annoying little girl stole my sparkly pink Jimmy Choos and apparently I have to go visit some kind of Wizard to get them back…
I mean, I tell you, what has happened to this world. I was having a nice sunbathe out in a corn field, and this.. well I assume it was a house, more like a shack, lands on me and the pilot (said ‘girl’ see above) runs off with my shoes because a lady in a bubble told her she could have them?!!?!
And since the recession the Wizard doesn’t just see anybody! (Allegedly) So thus I require tickets to enter his sanctum to demand my shoes back!
Yours
Lady Styrene
as students in our final year at uni, busy studying and completing coursework to make the last three year of getting in debt worth it, it would be great to have a good night out and escape to oz once more
Wicked is one of my must see show in 2010. it has a fantastic history and music .
But i am a french student and since this show will never come in France (Come on imagine only the lyrics translated) i have to come to england to see it and winning these tickets would surely help. It would awsome to make it happen…
I am a fully fledged Wicked devotee! Ever since Idina Menzel stepped on the West End stage I have been spreading the Elphaba love and now all my friends are as obsessed with me! I think I deserve to win because I’m a crazy poor student who only gets to see the show every blue moon and I need my Wicked fix soon!
Loves everybody elses comments and good luck!
I am a 25 year old mum of 3 and up until November 09 i was a theatre virgin. Then my wonderful husband surprised me with a trip to the west end to see Dirty Dancing, and i got the West End bug.
I surprised my mum with a trip to see wicked in January, but couldnt repay the favour and take my husband as he had to stay home and look after the kids.
I fell in love with the show, and constantly walk around singing the songs, ive even got my 3 year old daughter singing “popular”.
Since then my hubby surprised me yet again on valentines by taking me to see Hairspray in the West Wnd before the Uk tour began. Needless to say i am desperate to sweep HIM away and am desperate for him to see Wicked so he can join in my random show tunes singings around the house & in the car <3
Hey, I absolutely love wicked. Its my all time fave show and since I stay 9 and a bit hours away its so hard forme to get down and see it ! Also I am strapped for cash as I am a musical theatre student with zero pennies to be honest ! I had a wicked birthdaycake and everything which btw looked amazing and would love to go back down and see it ! PLEASE CHOSE ME
Me and my friends deserve a trip to see wicked because we are ozians at heart! We are all completely obsessed and in love with the cleverness of the show and the music has become the soundtrack to our lives. We found the place where we belong and its watching wicked. My sister shares our love and is studying musical theatre / dance in college but has never got the chance to see the show ! I would LOVE to bring her to the emerald city i know it would make her life ! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 Wicked !
Because what better way to cure my sister’s phobia of Elpheba from the Wizard of Oz than to show her the true story!
Her daughter (my niece) would love to see the show with her mummy as she has seen it 3 times!
I’d like to think that the producers will read this and think it’s kind of ‘wicked’, and I might deserve a chance to win.
I saw Wicked for the first time in London with the original cast, and fell in love with it. Little I knew that a month or so later I would have, pretty much, found myself in Elphaba’s unfashionable shoes.
I had to fight an ‘ethical battle’ to keep my job, and, even as strong as I was in my beliefs, it wasn’t easy.
So, I went to my hairdresser’s and asked him to dye and hide a streak of my hair green, and every morning on the London tube, before going to work, I was listening to Wicked soundtrack.
Things worked out fine for me in the end, bureaucracy, legal technicalities etc did the trick, but I do know my inner strength came from elsewhere, and I know that Wicked helped in keeping me going, until I needed it.
I want to be honest, as I am typing this, I already have tickets to go and see the show when the cast change in March, but I have been Wicked-branded (inside and out) ever since that first night at the Apollo Victoria.
So, do I think I deserve to be officially acknowledged as ‘Wicked’? I think I do, and this is why I am entering the competition.
2 Reasons:
1. Because Im from Ireland, its a lot harder to afford to come over to see the show because of the price of the tickets, coupled with flights and accomodation. if tickets were free, then i could afford it.
2. Its my girlfriends 21st Birthday this month, and this would make an awesome present for it!!!!!!
i deserve to win tickets because last time i booked to see wicked(2nd time) with my sister, nephew and daughter i was struck down with a major bout of sceptic tonsilitis and really could not enjoy the show as much as i would have liked, it really spoiled our weekend as my sister had travelled from liverpool and i from clacton we had a hotel booked for the weekend and chose this date as it was wicked day on the sunday so not only did we have to suffer the pain of not being able to enjoy the show as much we then had to miss out on the fun of wicked day because i was so ill and had to go home early to see the emergerncy doctor, the children and ourselves were totally gutted to miss out as we had made great costumes for the day and were looking forward to meeting all of the cast. i am now currently off work for 2 weeks recovering from having my tonsils taken out so hopefully a well organised weekend of shows will never be ruined again.
Sorry for the sob story but i really think my sister and i along with our children really would be worthwhile winners of this competition as we love wicked and would love to enjoy it a third time with no illnesses.
It’s my birthday on 22 May and I’d love to see the show with my friends:)
“Wicked” is my favourite show – no doubt about that.
The reason for tickets is to bring a special friend.
I remember seeing the show in summer / autumn 2008 and the topic of friendship that had altered, changed and developed to the stage where you don’t speak with each other anymore mirrored exactly what was happening at that moment to us.
There I was, sitting in the theatre and hoping for the same “for good” parallel in my own life – and from that moment on I always wanted to bring her to see the show.
As Fiyero puts it so correctly “you and Glinda will make up one day”, we too, did – it was quite a miracle, happening around Christmas time 2008.
So with her visiting me soon in London, one stop hopefully will be “Wicked” – although she doesn’t know yet
I would love to win this prize because it has been too long since I have seen Wicked!! As I know Louise Dearman’s family I would love to see her taking on the rold of Glinda but juggling a job and studying has left me with little spare time and money!! It’s not often I get the chance to go and see a show these days due to my job as a carer which has me working most evenings and weekends and I would love love love to win a fabulous night out with some friends
My friends and I deserve to win tickets for Wicked as we all are poor students so being able to afford tickets to a West End show is highly unlikely! We live in Glasgow so we hardly ever get to see good shows here, and none of us have ever had the chance to see a show in the actual West End, only the tours (and wicked hasn’t had a tour!) We are also musical fanatics, all loving the Wicked soundtrack but don’t actually know the plot haha! We may even be willing to publicly make a fool of ourselves giving our fantastic rendition of defying gravity (costumes and all) in order to win the tickets to see the show! please pick us? we’re sure we’ll be very ‘popular’ audience members for our ‘one short day’ in London, ‘dancing through life’ there after. it won’t be ’something bad’ it will be ‘wonderful’!!!
I saw the book in a charity shop a month ago and decided to buy it, I then spent the next 2 days straight reading and it is not one of my favourite books. The story is beautiful, and I adore musicals, so it would be amazing to be able to see it at the theatre. & regardless of whether I win or not, I plan on seeing it anyway
It would make me feel like I was flying if I could see WICKED with my own eyes. I live in Finland so I can’t just buy a planeticket and go. And for that I would have to save up money since I’m a student.
But if I could share this with my friends or family, it would be an unforgettable memory.
Well, there’s no place like home!
And even though I’ve been to wicked once, it immediately felt like home.
What more to say!
OMG I’d be AWESOME to go there, I always wanted to go but never had the chance!!
♥
I’ve heard about this Wicked show
They say it’s really something
So I would like the chance to go
And set my heart a-jumping
I know that I’ll enjoy it
And my friends will love it too
So please please let me win this prize
And make my wish come true
Me and my friends are huge fan of the musical, but we live in Hungary. Whenever I ask someone here, nobody knows what the Wicked is. And it’s a terrible feeling. I’ve got the CD, I’ve reed the book in 2 language, but I’ve never seen the show, because we haven’t got money enough. And love London, too. I want to live there one day, but I also haven’t been there, yet.
Already my little brother is a fan. He always want to play “Wicked game”.
It would be amazing to win tickets to the musical and a dream would come true!
I have already seen Wicked in London, last december in fact. Had a seat in row x in the dress circle, in the corner… horrible! Loved the show though. I don’t live in England and it takes 3 hours to fly there. I’m a huge Wicked fan, had all the books, OBC cd and the London cast ‘book’ I got in December.
I know I have already seen it, but I would love to see it again. I have friends in England that I would invite, they have never seen it but I know they would love it.
Well wouldn’t it be WONDERFUL
Firstly me and my best friend are students, as are a few people who want these tickets, but we are genuinly skint! we love wicked and really can’t afford to go anymore (as explained below)
Secondly me and my best friend really want to treat my mum and dad as a thank you for everything they’ve done for us and for all the money they have spent on us (again see below)
Thirdly, i think that with all the money my mum and dad have spent on Wicked they deserve to go without breaking the bank!!
This spending is crazy:
Trains to Wicked – £480 (We live in Blackpool)
Tickets for Wicked – £1,300
Hotels for Wicked – £1,536
Merch from Wicked – £151
Tube Tickets to Wicked – £40
Overall thats £3,507!!
Come on! You know you want to give us the free tickets! xD
Well wouldn’t it be ‘WONDERFUL’ to see such a ‘POPULAR’ show. ‘I’M NOT THAT GIRL’ sitting at home wondering ‘WHAT IS THIS FEELING?’ I’m that girl, who with any luck, ‘ONE SHORT DAY’ will be ‘DANCING THROUGH LIFE’ & taking a train to the West End with my beautiful daughter. I’ll tell her that ‘AS LONG AS YOU ARE MINE” SOMETHING BAD’ won’t happen and that we will ‘THANK GOODNESS’ ‘FOR GOOD’ luck has plucked us from hundreds of entries and ‘DEFYING GRAVITY’ we have won some amazing tickets and see best show in town – WICKED!
Hello, im Helen, im a single mom to 3 gorgeous girls, only last year they visited the theatre for the first time thanks to my new fella who showed us there is more to life and that the theatre is a great escape from everyday life. It would be fabulous to all go again and relive that special day xx
My mom has had some tough years since my dad and she seperated and I just want to surprise her with a nice evening, to relax and forget everything that has happened for just a few hours.
Already made 2 very expensive trips to Londen from Holland espesially to see wicked! It inspired me a lot! Would really love to see this show again and have a WICKED time over there!! I am a teacher at school, and think it’s very important to tell kids that they need to respect each other as they are. Everybody is different. Think that Wicked is a great story to tell te kids!
Wicked is a musical that touches you in all the ways you can think of. It makes your laugh, makes you cry and even shocks you. It is one of those changing moments in Musical Theatre that only occurs every 20 years or so. Wicked is truely a ‘Hit’ musical and deserves every single award it has won. No other musical has touched the hearts of UK audiences more that Wicked has. I would be honoured to share this precious prize with three other people to continue to spread the ‘For Good’ message this musical so brilliantly does.
Myself and my friends are great fans of Wicked we have seen in numerous times between us. We are all graduates from Central school of speech and drama and hoping for a musical theatre career in the west end! Wicked is the most innovative and exciting show on the west end at the moment, and i feel it is the most advanced show, both technically and creatively, in the business at the moment. My friends and I would love tickets to see it as there is a new cast about to start, and it is always refreshing to what new faces can do differently with the roles!
I’d love to win tickets to see Wicked because I had a complete phobia of the flying monkeys in the film when I was little, so I feel it’s time now to face my fear and see them in the flesh!
I saw the show and met the stars at the stage door a few weeks ago – since then I just can’t stop thinking about it and would do anything to go back and experience the magic of the best west end show once more!!
Unfortunately after we left the theatre Paddington tube station closed down as there was a problem and we had to get out and walk the rest of the way to the station in the pitch black with it tipping down with rain – because of this we missed the last train home and had to stay in the cold, uncomfortable station until 5:30am. Nothing could ruin the fantastic time we had at Wicked but I think we deserve a treat to get over this!!
Straight after seeing Wicked i was hooked. After reciting the songs to my friends continuesly. I got one to come with me to see it again. And again! I have contributed to spreading the wickedness of wicked, but now must proove to my other friends that its not “just some musical” Its a way of life that can only be accessed by watching the show and experiencing the ultimite adrenaline rush of defying gravity! or the adictvivness of Popular! So make a change for the better give us the opotunity to see Wicked! and make a change for good
i just wish you could see my bedroom walls, it’s really quite something. wicked fan at heart! my seventh time this saturday (:
Ah, I saw this on February 13th 2010, and oh my gosh! Ashleigh Gray and Sarah Earnshaw rocked it! I want to see it agaain, because I saw the standby’s (they were fab!) but i would like to see the main cast next time ^__^
XXX Love it
I saw wicked last year with my family, and keep wanting to go back, but cant afford to go. I’m constantly telling my friends how good the musical is, and want to prove it to them by taking them to see it. We are all in our last year of school, and going to different college’s, so this would be a great way for us to say goodbye to each other!
I’d LOVE to see WICKED because my wife bought me the book a few years ago and said once i’d read we’d go see and i’m still waiting!!
I saw wicked the first time for my thirteenth birthday and year and a bit on and i’m still obsessed with the show!! I listen to the soundtrack every day and my best friend (who i would take with me) is just as obsessed!!! we don’t spend one day together without singing at least one wicked song!!!!! It would mean alot to both of us as she is going through a hard time and i am dying to see it again!!! I would anything to see the show again!! please pick me!!!!
You biggest wicked fan
Brittany
Because it would be nice to see the show in comfort without having to sit on a coach for 5 hours after setting off from Preston at 2:10 in the morning, and then sitting outside the Apollo Victoria for almost 3 hours waiting for day-seat tickets (In the freezing cold!), like I’ve done the last 4 times I’ve been! I think that dedication deserves some free tickets!
Pleas pick me I love the music from WICKED! But have never gotten a chance to see the show. I would be so greatful if I won!
I would love to win these tickets so so much! It is my best friends birthday soon and she hasn’t seen Wicked or any other West End show. I was thinking of buying her a ticket for her birthday but i can’t afford one for me and her
I fell in love with Wicked a few years ago through the soundtrack and i never thought i would get to see it, until last November when my mum took me up to London to see it for my birthday. It was such a great experience and it for filled my wish, i didn’t realise how much i loved it until i got to watch it , it even made me cry at the end when i realised how much i had wanted to see it and that finally my dream had come true! I would love to give my friend this opportunity as her birthday is right before are GSCE’s at it would give me and her something to boost our spirits!
I LOVE WICKED!! I’m addicted to it, i listen non-stop to the soundtrack and when i’m not listening I’m singing it. I’d love to see it again, but more importantly I want my friends to see it. None of them have seen it & they NEED to. They need to join the Wicked band-wagon and understand my love of it, something they don’t currently. They’re missing out BIG TIME!!
Please choose me because i want to experience the magic of Wicked again and for my friends to share the incredible experience for the first time.
I would love these tickets because all my friends see how obsessed I am, and I want to show them WHY I am obsessed, but none of us have very much money. It would be a fabulous day and a perfect oppurtunity to spread some Wicked love
Did that really just happen?
Have I actually understood?
Sweet Oz! I would love to win tickets so I’ll make good to prove my worth. I’m determined to succeed.

What good is this chanting?
I don’t even know what I’m reading! I don’t even know what trick I ought to try
Like a comet pulled from orbit, as it passes a sun , Like a stream that meets a boulder ,halfway through the wood I was drawn to the opportunity to win these tickets.
I’ve just had a vision almost like a prophecy. I know – it sounds truly crazy and true, the vision’s hazy but I swear me and my good friends, my best friends will share one wonderful, on short day in London watching Wicked! We’ll be so happy we could melt!
And that is why I would like to win the tickets in the words of wonderful wicked itself.
My sister bought me a ticket to see the show for Christmas and i was so excited about finally being able to see the show. I was devestated when i woke up feeling really ill and was unable to go. I would be so grateful for the chance to go to London and see Wicked.
i’d love to see wicked in london with my friends because i have seen the show before and i am an absolutely obssesed fan and i really need to open the eyes of my friends to the fabulous amazing thrillifying show that is ‘WICKED’
Wicked is a musical which explores the themes of friendship, love, betrayal and commitment. I am leaving university in June, and for me, Wicked reflects these themes and the sadness which Elphaba and Glinda experience when they say goodbye to each other after their short friendship. The song ‘For Good’ illustrates the idea of friendship; the fact that you meet people who change your life, and you, for good, and marks a sadness in bidding a farewell to friends who you have shared a part of your life with. I am a Wicked fan anyway, but three of my best friends have never seen the musical, and it would be an excellent opportunity to end our university days and say goodbye to each other by seeing this hit musical. The musical itself is full of humour, sadness and change… and this is what the last three years of my life have involved. I love my friends, and I love Wicked… what a wonderful opportunity to combine the both.
Hi everyone!
Wicked! is by far my favourite musical of all time. I have seen it 3 times now, each with one of my friends, and have loved every single moment.
I love the way the songs can draw you in, making you laugh, cry and truly feel what the character is feeling. The line that especially gets me is in “For Good” when Elphaba sings: “you’ll be with me, like a hand print on my heart”. Truly such an emotonal line and it makes me think to the relationship me and my best friend have. I don’t know what I’d do without her and feel Wicked in this very song represents the friendship we have.
Similarly “The Wizard and I” I feel captures every emotion possible: the amount of joy and hope that goes into that song is overwhelming. Gets me every time! Especially when Ashleigh Gray sings it!
I would love to bring my mum to see why I love this musical so much, as she doesn’t understand my complete obsession, bringing her to see it would make my year.
I know almost every word to every song and would love to come and sing-a-long in the awe-striking theatre.
Watching Idina menzel sing ‘defying gravity’ through youtube was the start of my obsession with musical theatre and my absolute love of Wicked!, I don’t think anything will ever stop that now. Just wanted to say a big thank you for making the West end such a big part of my life. I don’t think i’ve ever found anything that I have been so passionate about until I saw Wicked.
Please Please pick me
The first time
The first time I ever saw Wicked will be a day that I always remember. From the moment it started to the curtain call my eyes were glued to the stage, during Defying Gravity I had tears running down my eyes, it was a night to remember.
Hi
I first heard of the show when it appeared on the royal variety performance, and was amazed by Idina and Helen, and the entire set and cast!
I’ve seen the show before with a a few friends, but i really would love to take my family as they now know all the songs; not though choice but they love it anyway and really want to see the show and know the story! There all really big fans of Musical Theatre, and of course, The Wizard of Oz!
It would be such an amazing day, and a great way to spend time with the family, and share with them something I love, and then they will too!
I have loved wicked since i discovered it years ago… Unfortunatly my family are pretty poor, you could say “I’m limited” (we live in dagenham) and cannot afford tickets, and as someone told me latley, everyone deserves the chance to fly!
It would just be a dream come true! Finally my friends will see why i am so obsessed, and i will be POPULAR! To this day i am void of the wicked experiance and winning tickets would just be the best thing to ever happen!
Please consider me!
I think I deserve to win as I’ve never had the opportunity or funds to buy the tickets and get down to London. I discovered wicked in July last year and have been addicted to the soundtrack ever since, defying gravity has been played over 500 times on my ipod and I even have the words ‘defy gravity’ tattooed on my ankle (http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k3/fletchlegwoman/Photo0038-1.jpg). It really would be a dream come true to experience the show properly in the audence and not just from the soundtrack or performances on youtube.
I would bring my three housemates with me as one of the last things we all do together as we’re going our seperate ways in June now university is finished. It is also coming up to my 21st birthday, yet another reason why this timing and competition would be perfect for me to win.
I would love these tickets as I love Wicked. I have been to see it numerous times and always get there early to queue up for tickets. It would be nice to take a couple of friends who don’t like the theatre without having to be in a queue at 7am.
I would love to win these tickets, not necessarily for me but for my friends. I have seen Wicked twice but my best friend Jannell hasn’t and I wanted to buy her tickets for her 16th birthday in May but I can’t afford them at the moment. So I’d love to win the tickets and be able to take her. And then we’ll be able to take two other friends aswell!
I always tell them how great it is and I want them to be able to experience it themselves. There is nothing better than the atmosphere you get in the Apollo Victoria
Also, the previous two times I have gone I’ve never got to go to the stage door to meet the cast performing so I’d like to be able to do that this time if I could get the tickets
Never been able to thank them for the wonderful performances they give.
I ADORE Wicked. Fell in love with it the first time I saw it. It would be AWESOME to win these tickets
I would love to win…even after seeing the show twice it’s not eough. And being able to take three friends along for the ride wow even better. The trek from Denmark would be nothing if we had Wicked as the end destination ^_^
I would really like to give these Tickets to my mum. She does so much and has to look after myself, but also my brother (who is Autistic) – she deserves a break. If I could get her a weekend in London to see a show that she really wants to see, I feel like I could show her how much she means to me. After all, she has worked all her life giving to my family. So why can’t I give something back to her?! Plus, I love the West End. I wish I could be a part of it, when I’m there I love it, the atmosphere, the idea that people who were once like me are living their dreams. It inspires me. I LOVE Wicked.
I would love the chance to take my personal ‘Ozians’ to see Wicked again! Living in the midlands its not easy getting down to London to see Wicked but the tiring, long day is completely worth it to see this amazing show! My friends and I also went to the last Wicked day and loved every minute of it – especially the amazing cast fashion show!! Theres not a day goes by where I don’t think about something Wicked related or listen to my soundtrack, Being a GCSE student takes up so much of my time but I’ll always make time for Londons best and most inspirational musical <|:)
i’ve been listening the the soundtrack since 2006 in Hong Kong, now that i’m studying in London, it’s a great great chance for me to actually go see the show i’ve been wanting to see since 2006.
My daughter loves wicked she has been to see the show a few times and has insisted on the whole family going to Wicked day. We have enjoyed her wicked journey and we have all been converted to being wicked fans winning tickets would be a fantastic suprise for her as its her birthday in April.
WHAT IS THIS FEELING so sudden and new?
it came from when i won the tickets from you
my pulse is rushing, my head is reeling, my face is flushing
what is this feeling?
A feeling much better than fame
does it have a name?
yes, aah….
i’m DEFYING GRAVITY,
parents, friend and i
defying gravity,
and soon they’ll understand why,
as….
ONE SHORT DAY they’ll be in the Emerald City,
one short day they’ll see why i have such fun,
Every way that they look at the staging,
they’ll think its amazing, free is such a good saving, the best day ever done!
and Once they see Galinda (with a Gar)
their whole life will change
And once they see Elphaba
no longer will they feel strange
my father will suddenly understand,
my mother will be amazed,
and my friend and i, will soon see why,
Wicked makes everyone so c-razed
i’ve heard it said, that Wicked comes into our lives for a reason,
making everyone understand, that difference is,
and always will be misunderstood,
but if you see good, the good in every human known,
then you will know how to be….
POPULAR, Wicked is so popular,
so blonde and green, lion scarecrow and tin,
all standing on the stage,
and with the tickets, i will be truly feel…
WONDERFUL
they said “is it Wonderful?”
so i said “Wonderful” – it truly is
we will be DANCING THROUGH LIFE
and nobody outside of oz, no wizard that there is or was,
will ever bring their won-der down!
I’m a huge fan of the show and have seen it a good number of times! Unfortunatly some of my friends haven’t had the same chance as me to see the show, so I’d just love to have the chance to take them along to enjoy the atmosphere and indulge in the brilliance of the show. Would be great to get to see the new cast as well!
I’ve been wanting to see this show since I first heard “Defying Gravity” and that was 5 years ago but I’ve never got enough money to afford it. However it is my girlfriends 17th birthday soon and she loves Wicked, taking her to see it would be the best gift ever and I’ll finally get to see the show I’ve only been able to enjoy through my ipod. =D
I am 15 and addicted to musicals, espeacially WICKED!!
I have only seen it once but am in love.
I play the soundtrack everyday and know all the words to every song. Anyone want a singing compertition?
Winning these tickets would be like a gift of releif, at the moment i am sudying for my exams and it would be great to have a break and see the no.1 musical in the land of OZ.
Im positively Emerald

It’s good to see me…isn’t it??……….No need to respond, that was rhetorical.
I’ve heard it said that…there’s a kind of, a sort of, cost (to seeing) Wicked…for the first time….and…we can’t all come and go by bubble because limited….my bank balance is limited. So Why? (I ask) do we have such Wickedness thrust upon us? After all, I’m not seasick, I didn’t chew grass as I child and I definitely don’t clash with everything and when I don’t get my own way…I don’t need to lie down! I’m always asking myself, what does one do for fun around here? Well nothing…….until now!! And guess what they reply when I ask people ‘what’s the most swankified place in town?’ ??? ‘go for one short day in the Emerald City’. I’ve ALWAYS wanted to see the Emerald City…but until that day…in solidarity…and to express my outrage…I will henceforward be known no longer as Joanna…but as simply…Janna. (!!??)
I’m trying to get into doing sound designing within the West End, a marching band i use to be in done wicked one year as our show, we played at wicked day one year, just wanna get the chance to actually make something of my life and i think this could be a way in….
The reason that I think I deserve a ticket to see Wicked, is simply because Wicked to me, is much more than a musical. I realise how corny that sounds, but the day I saw the show was a day that I will never forget.
I have always been quite a shy kind of person, constantly concerned about what other people think of me. The character of Elphaba means so much to me, simply because of the inner strength that she has, the defiance, and the self-belief. Although she is not perfect, she is the only character of any kind that I have ever felt a true connection to.
As a teenager, I feel that there are almost no realistic role models, real or fictional. The characters of Elphaba and Glinda are both so inspiring, mainly because they are NOT perfect. The fact that they are flawed, makes them so fantastic. Sure, Elphaba can be sarcastic and fiery, and Glinda is a little snobby and power-hungry, but they are young women that we can relate to. Both beautiful in their own right, these are most definitely NOT two size zero supermodels that the vast majority of us will never EVER be able to relate to.
So the reason I think that I should win a ticket to Wicked is because the show means so much more to me than the regular Wicked fan. Yes, it is a fantastic show with amazing performers ( I especially adore Idina Menzel, Kristin Chenoweth, Kerry Ellis, Dianne Pilkington and Alexia Khadime… all INCREDIBLE!). But the show I believe, has helped me to be comfortable in my own skin and be more confident in myself. The opportunity to see it again, or indeed, to take someone else with me to share the experience, would only encourage this! Thank you so much xxxxxx
As I live in Ireland, it is hard to motivate my friends to all invest in a holiday to London. With these tickets, we can all go together and have the best holiday ever!
My name is Orla and I live in Ireland. There’s quite a large age gap between myself and my younger brother and sister. It’s really funny to hear my six year old brother Rory ( a real “man’s man” with hopes of becoming a farmer) belt out Defying Gravity horrendously off key :L My eight year old sister Méabh just adores every song and I think they’d be a good pair with Rory as the first male Elphaba and Méabh as Galinda (although I think we’d have to change the For Good lyrics to For Bad for the both of them!) Unfortunately, as I’m a student myself, it’ll take me quite a wee while to save up to bring them to Wicked, and I know they’d be over the moon if we got the opportunity to go in the near future.
‘Dear old Shiz’
‘One short day’ I realised that ‘The Wizard and I’ are still yet to meet. ‘I’m not that girl’ that is ‘popular’ but I enjoy ‘dancing through life’. ‘Thank goodness’ that ‘no-one mourns the wizard’ but instead focuses on ‘defying gravity’ as the show must go on.
Sometimes you need ‘a sentimental man’ to realise the true value of a good musical. This musical is defiantly not ‘something bad’ but it is indeed ‘wonderful’ and should be in the West End ‘for good’.
There would be ‘no good deed’ if this didn’t make the public vote. ‘What is this feeling?’ happy, ecstatic, sad, disappointed … well ticket ‘as long as you’re mine’ I’ll be happy.

Wicked is my favourite musical of all time, in fact I am a complete obessive! The show is filled with truly inspirational, powerful songs .. I laugh, I cry and I sing when ever I hear the fantastic lyrics throughout this magnificant show. The three friends I would take with me to see the show are completely wonderful glorious people, because they have been in my life I know it has been changed for good and they have made me who I am today. They adore the show and because they have always been there for me, I would love to treat them to a trip to Wicked to show how much they mean to me.
My niece Hannah will be ’sweet 16′ on 4th June and is ‘Wicked’ crazy! We had a Halloween Party and yes, you’ve guessed, she came as Elphaba and she truly did look ‘Wicked’…(only wish I could send you a pic to show you) – she used green eye-shadow to paint her face, bless her, and was mortified because despite all the cleansing milk etc it didnt come off properly for 2 days!
She would love ‘auntie’ (me) to treat her to see the show in USA…I wish! So, I can only think what better than to have an opportunity to win tickets to see the show in London and for Hannah to see the real Elphaba and cast.
My fingers are crossed.
Thank you
Louise
WICKED is without a doubt the best show on the West End! It deserves to win the award at the Laurence Olivier Awards. Its got a fantastic story and I love all of the songs in it. It would be lovely to win some tickets and let my friends experience this fantastic show. We would also like to support our Lewis Bradley when he plays Fiyero
Thanks Holly x
i went to this 3 years ago for my eighteenth birthday and absolutel loved it, i finally saved up enough money to go see it again last year again for my birthday but i got really ill and couldn’t go which meant i not only lost all the money i had spent 2 years saving up for it but i also never got a chance to go see it again so i really want to go see i again plus i’m in my final year at uni and could do with a break
I have only ever seen Wicked once and I cant afford to see it again. This is a shame as I enjoyed the way the characters were portrayed in the first one. I never get a chance to see and thought I might give this a chance
Thanks
George xxxx

Also I wouldn’t take my parents I would take my little brothers and sister and my Mum as we have had a tough year losing my auntie to cancer and a split up between her and my dad.
I think we deserve a nice day out. But money is a problem so Thought I would apply! Probably wont win!
Thanks

i saw ‘Wicked’ for the first time last april and was swept away. i went thinking ‘it’s going to be like the wizard of oz’ and it was not! it was just amazing! g(a)linda is probably my favourite character from a musical….ever! and i have become so obsessed that when i went again for my birthday i bought up most of the merchandise!! whilst my friends aren’t big musical fans as myself, i have told them pretty much all about wicked, and they all seem very interested and if they don’t all know the lyrics to all the songs by now, they they have probably started to just block me out! so winning the tickets would be fabulous because they could watch it, see WHY i go on about it so much and i’d have people to sing the songs with around school.
:D:D and also, i would get to see it for a third time, and that would just be amazing!!!!!!!
I would love to win these tickets i’m absolutely obssessed with Wicked, not in a creepy way! lol! I have nearly every item of merchandise, even items from the USA, and have plans to get a Wicked Tattoo that i’v been saving for which will be awesome, I’v seen the show and would be fantastic to see it again, i’v even been to see Kerry Ellis and Idina Menzel to get their autographs, been to every Wicked day and even Wicked Cackle last year at the westfields centre…it would just be WICKED! x
I absolutely fell in love with Wicked and the series as a whole a few years back. I’ve always thought that the Wizard of Oz was such a magical film and so unique so when the book came about to turn the story on its head I couldn’t resist. And neither could I put it down. Literally. Suffice to say a lot of my university assignments took a temporary back seat until I had gotten my fix.
I hunted down tickets tot he broadway musical in London and went with my best friend. It was amazing to say the least. The acting, the singing – even the set design and costumes were simply breathtaking. I really feel they did the story justice, and more importantly it did Elphaba justice. She is my favourite character in the book and musical, obviously. She’s such an inspiration. Anyway, I have the cd of the musical (which I regularly belt out in the shower) and a gorgeous Defy Gravity t-shirt. I’m hoping to go see it again in June for my birthday, where my best friend has vowed to buy me the grimmerie. But this opportunity would mean I can get my fix of the Ozians even sooner, which is never a bad thing.
“SO IF YOU CARE TO FIND ME” just let me win and I will be there !!!!!
WICKED the best musical in the west end.
It’s simple…..
Seen excerpts on TV (loved it)
Have the CD (love it)
Would love to treat my daughter (she deserves it)
In one word SKINT!!!!!
Because….well, it IS Wicked (and no I did not mean that in the pun way, cross my heart and hope to Galindafy).
I love love love Wicked, really, and would just about give anything to see it again. Tickets are so expensive (but worth it).
*sigh…* It would be wonderful….
I’ve seen wicked 3 times and I always talk about it to my friends at school and they usually reply with ‘oh no she’s going on about Wicked again!’ But the other day they watched the episode of Glee where they sang defying gravity and all of a sudden I got 3 texts saying ‘I LOVE DEFYING GRAVITY!!!’ Now they have asked to borrow my wicked CD so they can listen to all the other songs from the show! They don’t usually go to the theatre so it really is quite something to say they would love to see it! Personally I love the theatre and would like to be a stage manager one day. We are all 16 and live in the West Midlands so to get down to London AND see a show costs quite a lot, but I really HAVE to take them to see Wicked now!
I’m a skint student who desperatly needs a fabulous musical fix! I’ve got the CD, the book and REALLY NEED (yes, it is a need, and would fulfill a dream =]) to go and see this show!!! I can’t ‘defy gravity’ and there is no way I am going to be ble to conjure up money or tickets!!!
I would like to win a chance to see wicked.
Wicked was the first west end show i ever saw ( I was 14 at the time) and i was lucky enough to see it with Kerry Ellis just three months after she took over from idina, after this performance i soon found myself going back again and again which ended up at a grand total of 16 haha. I loved the show, not because i could relate to the characters but because of the acting, the singing and the set were just ‘magical’. In my personal opinion there isnt another show in the west end at the moment that gives 100% to everything involved and wins crowds over ever night with amazement that they just NEED to go back and see it again, almost to double check what they have just seen is real !
wicked is a brilliant show and a real credit to London’s West End.
As a ‘true’ Wicked Fan i would be over the moon to have a shot of winning tickets : )
( Now 16 nearly 17)
I wanna suprise my gf for her 18th birthday, and this would be a great day out for her to let lose relax and have fun
I don’t think words can even describe how much I’m dying to see this show! Living in Somerset we don’t often get the opportunity to see ‘big’ shows and there haven’t been any shows that have intrigued me this much. After hearing ‘One Short Day’ in a friends car I had to go home and find the rest of this music! All the songs are incredible and I would love to be able to put them into some sort of context! You have incredible reviews and I can’t help but feel I’m missing out on something big! x
My grandparents took me to Wicked day last year, without any idea of what the show was about and without knowing any of the cast, just because my parents weren’t around and I had got my OZ garden into the top 10! At the end of the day they told me that my OZ garden was not in the top 3 and to be honest that is the only reason my grandparents had been willing to take me! We had been there all day from the very start until 6 o’clock at night, not including the one and a half hour trip to get there and getting lost trying to find the Lawrence hall! On the way home they were talking to me on the train and asking loads of questions about the show and my gran actually said “we should go and see it”!! I would just love to give them the opportunity to find out about the show and hopefully understand a bit more about what Wicked day was about! They are absolutely amazing grandparents and they completely deserve the trip to Wicked!! x
I have been hooked on Wicked for around 3 years now, driving everyone I know mad singing Wicked songs and talking about the show, characters and even the actors who play the parts, forgetting that a lot of people have no idea who these people are. I have managed to get some people to become Wicked fans, sometimes just by listening to just see what I’m going on about. I have seen Wicked in London twice, both times travelling from Chester to London just for the day to see a matinee then back home as this is how much I wanted to see it and it usually the cheapest option (as my money tree just hasn’t grown). I would love to win this opportunity to come and see it again and bring the new found Wicked fans friends I have to see this magical show and in turn they can go spread the word and get the rest of the country to London to see it.
i love wicked, der is no words to explains how wicked “wicked ” is. i would love to win tickets to go c it with my best friend. i love the witch.
I would love to win tickets to see Wicked as I am in much need of a good fun night out as I have recently had an ICD fitted after finding out that myself and my family have a rare heart condition called Brugada after losing four loved ones to the condition.
I missed my best friends birthday while I was in hospital so to win this would be fantastic to have a night out with my closest friends!
I ‘d love to find out exactly how WICKED this show is because I honestly have no idea!
Cause im just WICKED thats why………..
W – Why should I win Wicked tix?
I – I guess I need a Theatre fix!!
C – Cos no other Night Out can compare
K – Keeping my finges crossed that I’ll be there
E – Everyone else has tried their best
D – Do pick me though – I’M ‘Wicked’ OBSESSED!!
I would like to take my Mum as she has never seen a show in London before (she is 57) and she would love this.
there is no better way to make the hairs on my arms stand up then listen to the stunning voice of a witch with a green face
Unlimited,
The comments here are unlimited,
But I’ve just had a vision almost like a prophecy,
Oh how I hope…
This sounds truly crazy,
And true, the vision’s hazy,
But if only you could see,
Just how much your Wicked show,
Truly means to me!
If I could just sit there,
With my best friends,
Feeling things I’ve never felt,
For this unbelievable musical,
Makes me so happy I could melt!
I’ll remember it for the rest of my life,
I want nothing else till I die,
To whoop and cheer and scream,
Win something so extreme,
To watch West End’s greatest team…
Now that would be my dream.
Might get in the good books with the wife.well maybe if i take her with me.
Unfortunately, I missed the chance of seeig Wicked with my fellow classmates for activities. They raved for days about how amazing the show was. I was gutted that I didn’t get to see it with them. It would be really great if I won the tickets because I want to understand the story of the witches. Why Elphaba has been called the ‘Wicked Witch of the West’ I want understand her as a person and understand her story better. I’d really enjoy taking my friend or sister to see Wicked. There have been great reviews of Wicked and I’d like to be one of the people to experience the Wicked magic that a lot of people have seem to enjoy
I’ve never been to a musical before and what a way to start with none other than the extremely popular WICKED! I listen to all the songs over again on YouTube especially ‘what is this feeling’ and me and my freinds are going to be performing ‘what is this feeling’ so what better than to see it performed by the experts!
I would never turn down an opportunity to see ‘Wicked’ again, it’s such a special show, from the actors to the lights, music, costumes! It would also be nice to take three friends with me to share the experience, introduce them to a new show (if they haven’t already seen it, which really they should have!) and get them hooked too! It isn’t often a show comes along like this, and I think everyone should be given the chance to see it at least once!
This is the one theatre production I have always wanted to see, and I know that my sisters feel exactly the same. i have watched clips of it on you tube, and think it looks amazing. It would be fantasic if i won this prize.
I used to be an avid theatre customer with my mother, but unfortunately that cannot happen now. But I have receantly been discussing going with my partner and funnily enough this is going to be our first time show. But we were planning it for mid-September (between our Birthdays). However an oppotunity to see it sooner would be amazing. She has never been to the west-end and I would like for her to experience the world famouse Londons West-End.
I love a show, and apparently this is a very good one.
That’s why I want to go.
I have never seen wicked before. But since hearing a song from it on Glee, I am intrigued and want to see it. So would be great to win this competition, So I can treat my girlfriend to seeing this.
I love Wicked and after hearing me rave on and on about it, one of my friends who is a self confessed musical hater, is now really keen to go see it too. I’m sure Wicked will turn her into a musical theatre fan!!! So would be fab to win the tickets.
Yes I’ve always been green, I’m a massive WICKED fan, and some say I am positively emerald.
But I find it hard to get to London often enough to do all the swankified things in town, well we can’t all come and go by bubble! It is hard work getting my balloon ready.
How ‘wonderful’ it would be to see Elphaba and Galinda, oh sorry, its Glinda now up on the stage singing their hearts out for a WICKED one short day.
I heard there was some sort of disturbance…
I don’t see why you can’t give the tickets to me instead of always harping on about the vote
I wouldn’t know how to express my gratitution! It’s too much, too much to mention, I’d be so happy I could… melt
From the ‘WICKED Wizard of the south…
… I deserve the tickets’
P.S : Elphaba I’m looking to the western skies but cannot find you! HELP!
Everyone deserves to win, it’s just the matter of luck
It’s been almost a year since I first went to see Wicked with my parents and sister. I had been desperate to see it for so long, and was absolutely thrillified to get a chance to travel down to London (from Scotland) to see it in April 2009. Since then I have completely fallen in love with the show, and have travelled down another twice with my sister to see the show again. Each time we’ve been down since my mum has been desperate to join us, but can’t bear the 8hour over-night bus journey. If I won the tickets I would be able to take my parents again, and wth the money saved, could afford slightly more luxurious travel to intise my mum! She listens to the Wicked soundtrack non-stop so I would love to treat her to another experience she would never forget.
- – Competition closed – -
Thank you everyone for entering – it’s been a great response.
The producers are now going through the entries and we’ll soon have the poll up.
Any news on the winner yet?
Hi Sarah – WICKED have told us they are looking today, so shouldn’t be long now.
As soon as we hear we’ll reveal
